FaithReach India began as the result of a vision that God placed on its founder. He has spent his adult life spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, while working in various roles for other organizations.
In the middle of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic the Lord moved him to take the first steps toward a long-term vision that had been on his heart for years. That is to minister to the native tribes and schedule castes of India, who are often considered the “untouchables,” and especially those near where he grew up. To that aim he founded FaithReach India.
His heart for tribal peoples came partly from his experience as a cross-cultural missionary. For a time, he was a missionary in the state of Tripura (which borders Bangladesh) among the Debarma tribe. Later he ministered to the Nishy tribe in the state of Arunachal Pradesh (which borders China).
In October of 2020, COVID-19 relief kits were sent out to may who lost their income when the shutdowns began. This was done without fundraising.
In time and by God’s grace FRI hopes to see the vision come to fruition with theses ministries:
Reaching the Unreached and Church Planting
FaithReach India was founded for the purpose of reaching the unreached. We want to multiply churches for the sake of being part of the Kingdom building that Jesus began when he came to Earth.
Grace Ministries
“Faith without works is dead.” So is love without action. We aim to see real transformation in the lives of those we minister to by ministering to the whole person. Our Grace Ministries began in October of 2020 when the founder distributed COVID-19 relief kits with groceries and necessary items. Many in India lost their income when the shutdowns began. This was done without fundraising or other needed resources. FRI continues providing for the poor, as Jesus taught.+
Passing the Baton by Equipping Leaders
Missionaries and spiritual leaders in FaithReach India are educated in the Bible and continue to receive training and building up so they can raise up other leaders for the gospel of Christ. This is part of our Disciple Making Movement. Our DMM also involves discipling those who are converted to Christ as a result of our mission work.
Child Advancement Program
One of the first tasks for missionaries is to establish child advancement program centers to become places of love, care, education, and counseling. This will be done in a spiritual atmosphere of discipline under the supervision of Godly leadership with the love of Christ. One of the aims of CAP Centers is to enable children to attend school by providing scholarships (where needed), tutoring, nourishment, uniforms, school supplies and hygiene items. The children would visit the CAP Centers before and/or after school. We aim to give children a vision of the eradication of poverty and a healthier society.
Where CAP Centers do not exist, missionaries will help as many children as possible with the supplies and services mentioned above.
